In 2025, The Shakespeare Soroptimists made a heartfelt donation of £3,000 to The Luca Foundation, demonstrating their commitment to supporting families during some of life’s most difficult moments.

The Luca Foundation is a UK-based charity that provides essential bereavement support and equipment to families who have experienced the loss of a baby.

This generous contribution helped to fund a Cuddle Blanket, which functions as a cooling device, allowing families to remain close to their loved one after death and spend precious time together.

Through this donation, the Shakespeare Soroptimists enabled The Luca Foundation to extend its support to more families, offering them comfort, connection and the opportunity to create meaningful memories during unimaginably painful times.
